Closure Systems International Expands Aseptic Closure Portfolio

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – To meet increasing global demand for aseptically packaged juices, teas, and isotonic drinks, Closure Systems International (CSI) continues to expand their range of aseptic closures.  Their latest aseptic closure is Pro-Max 38mm 2SC.  This one-piece linerless closure is a lightweight design that offers excellent tamper evidence and venting for consumer protection as well as superior application performance.

The precision engineered scored tamper evident band provides critical tamper evidence for maximum security.  The excellent venting characteristics of CSI’s aseptic closures also provide increased package safety.  “Superior venting closures greatly improve opening performance and enhance consumer safety,” stated John Ziegler, CSI Global Marketing Manager.  “In side-by-side tests, CSI closures set the standard for venting performance in the marketplace.”

CSI has been providing aseptic closure solutions for many years.  As experts in this area, CSI knows how critical sterilization is to the aseptic filling process.  CSI’s Pro-Max closures are designed with smooth surfaces and shapes to facilitate ease and thoroughness of sterilization and operational efficiency for bottlers.  The lightweight profile also provides important material savings, thereby helping bottlers meet sustainability objectives with their existing 38mm 2-lead bottle finishes.

The growing aseptic portfolio offered by CSI includes the Pro-Max 38mm range of caps for both two- and three-lead bottle finishes as well as CSI’s line of 28mm linerless closures (Asepti-Lok/AS-Lok).  The closures are designed to fit both crystallized and non-crystallized finishes.

See Pro-Max 38mm 2SC and other CSI new products at the following upcoming tradeshows:  China Brew & Beverage 2008, InterBev 2008, Pack Expo 2008, and Brau Beviale.
