Closure Systems International develops new lightweight Aqua-Lok mini™ 26mm water closures

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Closure Systems International (CSI), the creators of the original 26mm bottle finish, announces the newest member of the CSI "mini™" family - Aqua-Lok mini™ 26mm closures. The low-profile closure and short height bottle finish provides resin material savings of up to 40 percent over existing 1844 26mm standard finishes. Despite their short height, these new ultra-lightweight closures are packed with important performance features, including tamper evidence before seal release for maximum product security, three-start thread design for easy-opening convenience, and organoleptically tested and approved resin.

"Bottlers that adopt CSI's Aqua-Lok mini™ closure benefit from improved economics and significant material savings without sacrificing performance, while their consumers continue to get secure tamper evidence, ease of opening, and excellent taste & odor properties," stated Clint Rush, CSI Marketing Manager. "The compact design is fully compatible with CSI's new 1901 short height bottle finish and other similar 26mm short-height finishes."

The new closures are part of CSI's total packaging solution for bottlers, which include trouble free line conversions and a complete range of expert technical services. CSI effectively combines closures, high-speed packaging equipment and technical services to deliver the lowest cost of operation to bottlers.
